Tuning into Board Meetings on Zoom

Can't make it to a board meeting in person? No problem! You can still stay in the loop by tuning in to meetings via Zoom. Here's how to get connected.

This year, Carlyon Beach is offering the option to listen in to board meetings via Zoom! The hope is that we can make neighborhood participation more accessible for all of our members - even those with young children or evening work hours.

You can join board meetings via Zoom at this link:

Here are a few things to keep in mind for CBHA board meetings on Zoom:

    • We don't currently allow commentary via Zoom. This is mainly due to manpower - it's not that we don't want to hear from you. We ask that, if you have a comment and can't attend in person, to please submit your feedback at least one week before the next board meeting to memberservices@carlyonbeachhoa.com.
    • Make sure you have Zoom installed on your device before the meeting. You do not need a paid Zoom account to join the meeting.
    • Audio for meetings can be a bit touch and go. We have a conference mic for streaming, and do our best to project our voices so that Zoom picks it up. If you're having difficulty hearing us during board meetings, please send your feedback to Destiny Hagest, Board Secretary, at secretary@carlyonbeachhoa.com. We'll do everything we can to make those improvements!
    • Make sure you have a stable internet connection. We're unable to improve the quality of the content if the issue is internet on your side, so please make sure you have a good internet connection for the best experience.

As always, your feedback and suggestions are most welcome. The board is made up entirely of volunteers, and we always welcome expertise, help, and friendly suggestions.
